I have been living in an experiment that has been lasting for over 2 years now. I think I am at 2 years and 4 months. It’s my diet, or as I have made it, my way of life. I am a pescetarian… no not a presbyterian. It started in August of 08 when I randomly decided to become a vegetarian. I blame my friend Chris Link for this decision. The idea is to be healthy but as a vegetarian I could eat cheese and the go to meal option is pizza. I quickly added 5-10 pounds. Then in November Clint Herring told me of the book Skinny B*tch. I read it and decided to go full vegan. That lasted all of a week. It was at that point that I decided I could do the vegan thing if I could eat seafood. The rest is history. I am more than 50 pounds lighter and have lost over 6 inches off my waist. The crappy thing about losing a dramatic ammount of weight is the first thing people say to you when they haven’t seen you in a while is, “hey jeez you look great, have you lost more weight?” You are left wondering how to answer, do you lie and say yeah, I just keep losing or do you tell the truth and say, nope I’m just focused on maintaining now.
later gators!
